WP Group celebrates the best of the 90s with Southampton FC Women

On Sunday 2nd February, WP Group welcomed colleagues, friends, and fans to a special event held alongside Southampton FC Women’s match against Newcastle United at the St Mary’s Stadium, to celebrate the best of the 90s: the music, the football, and a focus on progress with 90% less emissions thanks to HVO, the company’s renewable diesel fuel solution.

WP Group ensured that there was a real buzz around the stadium by providing live music from the Supernova, the world’s no.1 Oasis tribute band bringing 90s hits to life.

Southampton-based WP Group is leading the way in sustainable products with their HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) product. HVO is a fossil-free, low carbon drop-in diesel replacement product made from 100% renewable waste, residues and vegetable oil. A renewable diesel that provides the same high-quality performance as traditional fuels while slashing carbon emissions by an incredible 90% – hence the 90s theme for the match day! By using HVO, industries can take a significant step towards sustainability without changing a thing.
